How does it feel to be in your 20s during a pandemic? During this period of time, you are forced to examine who you are as an individual. No matter how you feel about it. We do not even know what we are doing pandemic or not, so it is a frightening situation. We are not certain what we wish to do for a living, who we wish to be, or why we are here on this strange planet. Acknowledging your weaknesses will help you to grow, but it is not an easy task. It is difficult to recover from a difficult situation. The task is more difficult than it appears. Work on yourself? It is easier to avoid. Personal growth is what we all desire. We all want to be someone who has good values and morals. Always have people's backs. Success and possessions do not provide us with the fulfillment we expect. It is relationships that do. As young adults, we are searching for our identity and what makes us happy. We must dance through life, whether it is a sad or happy song. 

 

We have had nine months of this dark time to reflect on all aspects of our lives, including ourselves. Ideally, we would like to surround ourselves with people who lift our spirits. People who see us as we are. Keep learning and growing as young adults who have no idea what they're doing at this point in their lives. I know for myself that I put on a front. It is difficult to claim we have insecurities and there are things about ourselves that we do not like. We must be confident in who we are, including both our good and our bad qualities. 

 

Each of us comes from a different background. We come from broken families, mistakes, pain, love, and much more. We cannot forget to be children at heart. We must appreciate even the tiniest moments. When you are dancing in life with that sad song playing, it is difficult. Nevertheless, it can be the most rewarding experience. It is a dance of hope. The dance of knowing you are in a tough situation, but that sad song will change. We do not know how many happy songs will be played in a row before another sad song plays. But try to live in the song that is playing at the moment and learn as much as possible from it.

 

Be aware of who you are called to be. You should cherish every relationship you have with others. Be sure that they are healthy relationships. The way others treat you can affect the way you treat others. The cycle of hurt people hurting other hurt people can occur. 

 

Do you suffer from pain? It is easy to wonder whether it will ever go away. You do not believe that it will. You do not want to experience it. When things are so chaotic, it is difficult to see the future. All we can do is talk to people about how we feel and don't suppress our feelings. They will stay there for a longer period than we would like. Let it out! You should surround yourself with good and beautiful people who will aid you when you are in need. Make a difference in someone else's life. 

 

Right now, there are many people suffering in the world. Many people feel isolated. Most people are questioning whether they are even a good person or whether they matter when they look in the mirror. Insecurities and fears are taking precedence. Our thoughts are constantly running through our minds as we sit quietly. This is a difficult time to take your mind off things and distract yourself. Right now, you should be okay with who you are. Accept that you are not perfect. Accept that you are not who or where you want to be. Ensure that you are on the path of that person. Whether you are running or crawling, you are moving in the right direction. Life is a long journey. Even though we may never be that perfect person, we will continue to improve each day. Helping others is an honor and a privilege. Ensure you are doing your part, especially if you are in a position and mindset to do so. You have great power. Tell us your story. Good and bad. Strangers helping one another can change everything. It is okay to not be okay.
